Seminar “A European skills base: a tool to improve health and safety at work”
UNIEP organised the Seminar “A European skills base: a tool to improve health and safety at work" in Brussels to present the results of the “Painting Skills Network” project in the fields of VET, apprenticeship and mobility in the Painting/Decorating trade in Europe.
The seminar occurred at the final stage of the PSN project, which ended in September 2017 after two years of activity. Project partners, EC representatives and stakeholders have been invited to discuss jointly the issues related to health and safety at work in the painting/decorating sector. In this context, vocational training, risk prevention and new plans have been at the core of the talks.
The seminar comprised two panels:
- Strategic Partnership and the European Qualification for the Painter/Decorator, showing how the model could be used as a good practice;
- European action plan on Health and Safety at work for SMEs and the new initiatives for the risks prevention, showing different examples of company’s safety management.
Here you can find the final agenda of the event.
